black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. It is a game that starts slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are slowly getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are astonishing. As with the popular fairground ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for a while before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a black jack player that can readjust to the ups and downs of the game especially given that the game of black jack is full of them.

If you like the small coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop aboard for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big money player will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not find it easy to recollect how much you enjoyed the view while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a nice ride … your head in the clouds. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that devastating fall as clear as day.
