I have wagered on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
