I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at twenty-one. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager

Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
