Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a wild ride. Black jack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.

As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will be going great for a while before it bottoms out once again. You most certainly have to be a bettor who can readjust to the ups … downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is choked full of them.
If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the mad ride is with a fatter bet, then hop on board for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high roller will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s an awesome feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not naturally recount how much you enjoyed everything while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a mad ride … your head in the air. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly remember how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
